Twitter started releasing to all its users native support to GIF. After a test period, the social network has finally decided to offer all its members the chance to further customize their tweets within the platform. The novelty will be available not only within applications for iOS and Android but also for web users.
Once you have this new feature, users will find a new platform dedicated button in the option of publishing a new tweet. Clicking the “GIF”, users can select one of the animations through partners such as GIPHY and Riffsy platform. After you select the GIF, it will be attached to the message which then users will be able to share through the platform. This is a very interesting news that was enjoyed users already during the test phase within a select group of subscribers.
Animated gifs may provide extra content platform capable of rendering the entire social network more pleasant to use. In addition, the arrival of GIF could open new frontiers of advertising.
Native support to GIF is not, however, the only novelty introduced by thick social network. Twitter has announced the introduction of the ability to record and share videos within the direct messages. News that will only be available for iOS and Android users. Web platform users can, instead, just to share videos but not record them.
Question, therefore, of new attempts by Twitter to gain greater appeal to gain new members. As is known, in fact, the social network is experiencing a very critical phase of his life and is trying more ways to capture the attention of its users.
Efforts that currently do not seem, however, to bring the hoped-for improvements.
